We are small and friendly team and would love to teach you all about powerboats and PWC to keep you and others safe on the water.
Richard
With over 30 years of experience on the River Arun, Richard brings exceptional local knowledge to the team. He also volunteers as crew with the RNLI on the Littlehampton Lifeboat, adding invaluable real-world expertise to every training session.
Fiona
Fiona has over 15 years of experience in the marine industry and also owns and runs Littlehampton Yacht Club. Her strong business background and leadership bring valuable insight to the team.
Kody
Kody has been a friendly and reliable presence at the yacht club for the past four years. Recently graduating with a degree in marine engineering, she qualified as a PWC instructor in 2025 and has now many course under he belt.
Chris
With over 30 years of experience on PWCs and boats, Chris joined the SMS team in 2024. He is passionate about teaching and helping others enjoy the water safely and confidently.
Alfie
Alfie joined the SMS team in 2025 and has delivered numerous PB2 courses over the summer. As a qualified sailing instructor, he brings enthusiasm and a genuine love for being on the water.
Dave
With over ten years of jetskiing and boating experience along the South Coast, David is passionate about sharing his skills and helping others gain confidence on the water. With a degree in engineering and a background in climbing instruction, mountaineering, and snowboarding, he brings a well-rounded, safety-focused approach to every session.
